Who is doing it? I think it's like a special little secret between FH and I to have them engraved. I have no idea what they will say yet but im so doing this, I think it's a beautiful idea.

i thought about it but not extensivley. i dont think we will end up doing it,.
i just saw a movie called license to wed and instead of engraving 'never to part' the jewler engraved 'never to fart' if you engrave them dont let that happen to you!! lol lol

The girl on platinum weddings did that. It was funny. She was from NY too.
We are doing engraving but we won't see what the other engraved till the day of. FH keeps teasing me he is going to write in mine 'i settled for you'

we are doing it but not seeing it to the day of hopefully he doesnt put anything stupid... he was joking around hopefully saying hes gonna put 'you can never leave me' lol

We haven't really discussed it. We're importing our rings from Portugal (where his father is from) and I doubt they do it there.

I def think i'm doing the engraving thing for FH's, not sure what it'll say though...i kinda like the idea of an inside joke so that even if it seems strange to someone else, it makes us smile

I'm an Irish-Italian girl, but I was thinking about going with the Irish saying on this one 'Love, Loyalty, and Friendship' from the claddagh. Though, it might be too much on a band. :)
