Entree Choices

How many entree choices are you having (did you have)? Right now, we have 3 but when I mention this to certain people in my family, I get the look like 'only three'...I guess I never paid attention at other weddings but I always assumed 3 was the norm (ya know, 1 meat, 1 poulty, 1 fish)....I'm sure I can add more choices but that will mean more $$ - Is it necessary??? TIA

3 sounds good to me. just make sure there is also one veggie option

3 seems right to me. I was at a wedding recently where they only had 2 choices! So we're ahead of the game! Amazing the things people expect sometimes, isn't it???

3 should be fine. Any vegetarian or Kosher guests should let you know in advance if they require a special meal. For just a few changes, your RH shouldn't charge you extra but check with your RH just to be sure.

Thank you so much! We already requested a few Kosher meals but I never thought of the Veggie...so I will definitely mention that to the RH!

We're having 3 options; like you said: 1 red meat, 1 fish, and 1 chicken. I think that's enough, in some areas the guests don't get any choices, they eat what the B&G decide.

Three choices. I think thats enough. We went to a wedding where there was only one entree and no CH and that would've been fine if I didnt tell my FH not to eat too much all day because there would be a lot of food. I forget that outside of LI weddings are more toned down.

3 plus veggie is normal!

My place was kind enough to give us 4 + veggie! :)

3 Choices.... & of course veggie option & kids entrees. 3 is the norm... anything more than that is bonus but 3 is usually the norm except for places like Russo's and Jericho Terrace who usually give you 7 choices....woah!

I have 7 too, but i just went to a wedding that had no choice....just the one entree! I think three is the norm and definitely enough!

Our RH only has 4....similar to yours....the 4th is a pasta vegetarian mix....

im having 4......but the norm is 3! no way would i pay to have more...if these ppl want more tell them to pay the difference! lol

chateau briand and fox hollow are the only 2 places ive went too when we were looking that offered 7, i was thrilled but that still didnt make me stay w. those places..i got 3 and than 1 add on
