Eparty!

I'm so excited!! After being engaged for a year, we're finally going to have an eparty. We've been planning alot since we're going to have it in July. It's going to be a casual outdoor BBQ on Roosevelt Island.

Our theme is going to be.....The Yankees!!

I've been looking up baseball/yankee themed party supplies. Our invites are going look like yankee tickets.

Anyone have any ideas for me? My biggest concern is I don't want it to seem like its an 8 year old's bday party.

I ordered Team Bride and Team Groom buttons and gave them to the BP to wear during the party they were a big hit and it would fit even better with the sports theme you are having. I ordered them from Cafe Press.com

If you are doing seating chart you could name the tables after Yankee Players. You could make a sign for the bar area as 'The Dugout'. That sounds like a lot of fun if I think of more ideas I willpass them along!

Ok have another... you could make a sign in board in the shape of Home Plate.... with those basball bat shaped pens. Or even make a board or a program like thing, maybe on for each table called, the starting line up.... and name the BP on that....

unforunatly, we can't do seating chart, because its a BBQ, so we won't have assigned 'seats and tables'.

I <3 the dugout idea. so cute.

I did find baseball photo holders. I'm gonna put those on the tables with pics of us in them.

maybe u can go with navy and white(those are theyankee colors,right?) linen ..or plastic table clothes.. napkins etc..


if ur guna go to party city and order everything yankees....it WILL look like a 10 yr olds party lol

stick to their colors.. the supermarkets have yankee peanut packs... u can include that somehow?

Yes it really SHOULD be a Mets party

How about a Yankee themed cake? Navy and white tablecloths, napkins, etc. You could do Navy and White M&M's in little bags for favors

awesome! there was a bride (who got married at CLM i believe) and they did a yankke themed wedding it was soooooooo adorable! maybe you could find the thread (i will help when i havbe some time) on the brides review and pull from there!
