eparty favors

eparty favors

I'm totally stressing out. We are having our eparty in 2 weeks and originally planned to do little white bags with blue m&m's since me and FH's name start with the letter M. When I priced out the M&M's for 100 favor bags it was over $500 and I think thats nuts!!

So now I don't know what to do. We nixed the personalized Hershey bar idea and then FMIL suggested just giving out the brown bags of M&M's that you get at the candy store for 50 cents..but I feel that that's a little impersonal and you can't really tie ribbon around it.

I'm thinking maybe a wine stopper with a heart or snowflake since that goes with our theme..

Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions about options above??

Thanks!!!

as favors for my feb 12 wedding i am going to be giving away two favors the wine stoppers with a snow flake i found 50 for 82 and change on amazon. you could also go to a 99 cent store and make favors. i went to a 99 cent store and found these champange glass candles that i am going to be putting ribbion around them of one of the colors of the wedding and put those on the tables.
hope this helps.

If you want something edible, how about cookies or cupcakes?

Did you try to order the M&M's online? I could be wrong, but i got the idea if you go to a candystore, like Dylan's Candy Bar they'd be cheaper then having them sent to you.

And the stores usually separate their M&M's by color, so you could still pick and choose, then re-package when you got home.

We didn't do favors for our e-party. But if you wanted to stick with the M&Ms (which I think are cute)... what if you buy a few big bags at costco and use organza bags (I think you can get them at Michaels)? I'm sure you could make 100 of them for way less than $500 AND tie ribbon around them.

I think this is a good idea!

I think a wine stopper is def cuter than the brown m&m bags! you can order them relatively cheap too from a bunch of websites. we got ours from wrapwithus.com (oil bottles) and you dont have to pay shipping w/ them since its local - maybe check out the site! my favor pic is in my album!

I love the m&m idea, very cute, and it's your initials :)
actually that's my and FH's initials too lol

I'm making chocolate candy favors in milk and dark, I make candies all the time, so it's something I like to do and not all that expensive

I got my favors from Wal-Mart. I put Hershey Kisses in little bags. We personalized the tag on my computer. Favors!

my mom made engagement rings out of chocolate and put then in a plastic bag tied with an engagement ring bought at michaels.

She also got m and ms with our faces on them (but thats the more expensive option!)
Check out my albumn :)

Just curious why are you throwing out the personalized chocolate bar idea? We actually made them for our engagement party. They were really expensive to buy so we just made them ourselves. It was a great way to put our e-pics to use. If the $ was the reason your not making them let me know and I can tell you how we made them.

Thank you so much girls!!

I think I'm ordering the wine stoppers this morning. My FH calmed me down a little and said he rather have a favor that they can keep and not eat on the ride home.. not sure if he just said that to make me feel better haha.

My FMIL and FSIL didn't like the idea of the choc bars, but I bought them at Costco so I think we may do them anyway cause I have all the stuff.

Don't make yourself crazy! It's your e-party NOT your wedding! Stay simple & don't spend too much.

Our favors were candles & I made the labels for them. They were a big hit!

We also did candy apples which were a big hit too!

We did a fall theme and gave out leaf bottle openers. I thought it was cute and went with the theme... have fun and don't stress it

For my niece's Christening we bought Hershey bars and printed up a picture of her and wrapped it around the Hershey bar... it was so cute and a big hit! I don't have a picture of it but you could try it with a picture of you and FH?
