Ok so I'm finally starting to actually plan my eparty. We have set the date and are still looking at invitations. However, one thing I am stuck on is a favor. I know many of you already had your parties or are coming up on them. What did you all do for favors? I want something practical...something they can either use or eat. I also have to keep in mind....what am I using for wedding favors? I obviously cant use the same things. So really I have two questions:
What are you (or did you) using for favors for your eparty? What are you using for favors at your wedding?
Ok my newest idea:
What do you think about personalized stemless wine glasses filled with personalized hershey kisses and/or personalized m&m's in the wedding colors?
Do you think people would like the personalized glass or should I not personalize the glass and just personalize the candy?
we did perfect pear candles.....i always think candles are practical.....i way over bought if u were interested i have a bunch, otherwise they were really cheap, like $1 for each pair of candles

We gave out heart shaped coasters that said love joy hope etc. Got them on sale at the knot.com

Yea i thought about coasters too. I saw heart ones that you can put pictures in. Not that I would put my picture in it....so people can put their own pictures in them.

my brother is getting coasters for his wedding favor....they say love in chinese bc FSIL is from china so it was a cute idea, everyone could use coasters and they are pretty cheap as well

Yea I love the coaster idea...FH is not so big on it. I wanted to do (for eparty) personalized shot glasses filled with personalized m&ms. I thought it was so cute!! I designed the glasses and everything and I loved them.....but FH shot them down.

Are you having a theme for the party? When is the engagement party? What about a cookie cutter, they make them in all shapes and they are practical. Tell me a theme and I will come up with something great!!!

I don't have a theme. My party is in July. It's in my backyard. Very casual.

We are having 'Candy Bar' with personalized candie... and Maybe Candles... or Stars Keychain... And We will have sort of like 'Post cards' or 'thank you' cards for them =)

I started creating the menu for my e party today and just ordered the invites...totally didn't even think about favors! This is why I love LIW girls. I'm doing a backyard party too. I'll let you know what I end up doing

we use tic tacs and like mints...engageMINTS...and covered them with stickers that i printed up with our pic n date n names...i really lked them...and we also gave choc lolipops
I did cupcakes. Everyone really liked them. There are pictures in my engagement album. I probably will do wine as a favor for the wedding. I personally really like edible favors.

I am doing cupcakes as my dessert I think. We met a lady at a showcase that does mini cupcakes and they are soooo good! I'm going to call her to go in to talk about doing it as dessert.
What kind of wine are you doing for the wedding? Like a whole bottle of wine for every person? Or mini bottles? I was thinking of putting a bottle of wine in the hotel bags.

We're just doing something small like candy or tea candles. Don't really want to spend so much money on the e-party considering it's basically going to be a big beer-drinking bbq with friends and family.

That's what ours is going to be too! But we are catering, not BBQing. But its in my backyard, very casual, pool, beerpong, etc.
