I am planning on sending out my Eparty invites in a couple of weeks and I can't decide which wording to use.
We're having an informal BBQ/pool party at my parents house and I'm just going to make the invitations myself (print them out and make copies at work) with nice paper. So now I can't figure out whether or not to use fancy paper and a moral formal wording and font or more summery fun paper and font.
Informal wording: Love is here to stay, Let’s celebrate by swimming the day away!
Bobby and Barbara LN have the pleasure of announcing the engagement of their daughter Lila to Nicholas.
We would love it if you could join us for a Barbeque and pool party to celebrate their engagement.
Remember to pack a bathing suit and towel!
Formal: There's nothing quite as wonderful As a garden in full bloom. Except, perhaps, a blushing bride Glancing at her dashing groom.
Bobby and Barbara LN have the pleasure of announcing the engagement of their daughter Lila to Nicholas.
We would be pleased to have you join us for a Barbeque and pool party to celebrate their engagement.
They're both really similar, it's more about the feel I guess we're trying to put across.

Re: Eparty Invite wording
I like the first one- I think it does the job and is appropriate for what you are trying to achieve- we are also having a backyard party... I need to get pics up of our invites because they were DIY, I think the first one is just more fun! HTH

Re: Eparty Invite wording
Thanks all, the seems to be the general consensus and it's one FH likes best too. I guess I'll go with that!
