epics poll, please help!

ok...so FH & I are going to Mexico, labor day weekend to check out the hotel for our wedding.

Should we try out a photographer there and do Epics at the resort? (mind you we would have wedding pics and epics at the same resort) buttttt we are probably not getting married at the same resort we are staying at, prob getting married at their sister resort

ORRR

should we just do epics here on LI??

and should we do a beach theme for epics, since we're having a destination wedding?

or try to do something different to change it up? like completellllly different, like NYC pics? I loooove NYC epics! and I love NYC! its where we got engaged!

I'd do something totally different and go the NYC route.The urban/cityscape pics come out AMAZING and the beach photos have so been done.

I would see how much it is to get some pics taken from a photographer that you would use there to make sure that they dont suck. you arnt going to get the opinions of people down there like you will from LIweddings girls. I would want to make sure that you are happy with there style if that is definitely where you are getting married.

i agree! it would allow you to try out a photographer there. unless you are having a photographer from the states.

I say do some NYC pics and some LI beach pics. Then you can mix it up. Maybe have a city image and a beach image. One showing where the proposal started, and one symbolizing where the ceremony will be (in essence). This way it also sets the tone for the destination. Either way, you can't go wrong!
