Does anyone know if Epsicopalian churches do the unity candle. I am having trouble contacting my priest and I am unsure about this practice. Last time I talked to him he said something about a hand bonding ceremony. Does anyone know what that is? I am very confused.

Re: Episcopalian Services (sorry about the spelling)
The cathedral (head of the LI diocese) does NOT allow us to do it - but a smaller church might - we were told they follow the ceremony strictly from the book of common prayer - I have a program which lists everything - I don't know anything about a hand bonding ceremony unless it has another name. They do bless the rings I believe as part

Thank you so much. Could you possibly post what the program lists? Thank you again.
