We are right with you. I dont want to be paying this mortgage when we are in our 70's! At the rate taxes on LI are going I doubt we will retire here. Well there is always Lotto

Yes definitely specify where you want the extra money applied, Chase's statement has a separate line item that says 'extra prinicipal' and you can specify right there. Then check it on the payments received breakdown the next month.
