I am new to this and it may seem like a dumb ques but if my placecard

table_______

do u write in R after M or just start the first name????
should it be Mr. .........
or M alan and jill smith

Hmm...I didn't have a M_____, but I would think that you should write in the 'r'....or 'rs' or 's'...depending on who the guest is...

You should fill in the appropriate title after the M.

Mr.
Master (really not used, just including it!)
Ms.
Miss
Mrs.

If it is a married couple it would read
Mr & Mrs
if it is a young boy, under 10 Master
Unmarried women over 18 should read Ms.
Unmarried women under 18 Miss (although I use Ms. for even 16)
