ERRR!
I am so angry since last night. My sister (MOH) called me to tell my that she had spoken to our cousin, one of my BM's. She said she offered to go with my cousin for her first fitting of the dress next Tuesday if she wanted to make an appointment with Macy's Bridal. My sister has the day off, so figured my cousin could come down to L.I. for the day to hang and get that done with. We my cousin proceded to tell my sister this 'Well, that would be ideal, but right now I don't have the money for the dress, nor the alterations'. So therefore, she is not going for a fitting 'just yet'! My sister than says to her 'well ya know in one week Novemeber will be here and the wedding will be 1 month away'. She responded with 'yea, I know, but what do you want me to do. I have no money!!!' ERRR!
What is that about?!? She has only known about my wedding for 2 yrs now and knew the price of the dress since May.... now she has no MONEY?!? I didn't call her yet, but if I do....should I make a big stink out of it or let it ride and see what happens?? Should I call Macy's Bridal and see when the latest possible she could have a fitting done, so that it the dress is ready in time? I mean she is a grown adult who should be taking the responsibilty of this and getting her fitting done.... not needing me breath down her throat....

Re: ERRR!
I would not raise a stink I would just ask how I could help. Unfortunately, things happen.I had a lot of problems where I ordered my bridesmaid dresses so the dresses came in the first week of September ( they were supposed to come in the last week in July) for my 9/20 wedding and everything worked out fine.
The fittings for bridesmaid are pretty simple compared to the bride. My girls went in one day and I just picked up all the dresses.

Re: ERRR!
I wouldn't even worry about. If she doesnt have the dress in time, then she won't be in the wedding That is the approach I would take. I am getting married 1 month from today and outof 10 girls only 2 have picked them up. They are BIG girls and I am not going to go running around trying to get them set up, they should do it on their own!

Re: ERRR!
I would find out what the last possible date for the fitting would be first, so when you call her you can have the info. However, I would spin it like you are concerned and trying to help her and not that you are pissed. I think she's in the wrong, but who knows how she will react if you get all crazy on her and you don't need the added stress of a huge blowout right now. Just try to play it calm.
