FH and I went to look at wedding rings last week. I am trying to decide on getting either an eternity ring (diamonds all the way around) or a ring with diamonds half way around. Has anyone else decided between these two options?

I'm going for halfway around. My engagement ring band does not have diamonds so it can semi match.

My engagement ring is a half band, which i appreciate since the back of its already has a bit of wear. I'm wondering if its a good idea to have diamonds on the back, will they get damaged? I asked about resizing and the jeweler said it could be resized but would be more difficult. Ugh, decisions!

I have to see with my jeweler how it will look but I want an eternity band, but I think having the diamonds half way might look better with my engagement ring

If you have the money why not get all the way around!! My engagement ring goes all the way around and it's fine-even if God Forbid a small diamond falls out, as long as you buy from a reputable place they give youa lifetime warranty and replace for free.

My e-ring has diamonds a little more than halfway around, and I want the same thing for my wedding band. I'm not really into diamonds all the way around. I feel like it's too easy to lose the diamonds on the bottom, and I think a plain band on the back side is more comfortable.

I would prefer a band with diamonds more than half-way round. I would prefer to have a plain bottom since it is so much more practical. I have seen just the band I want at a local jeweller and it is awesome.

Initially I really wanted an eternity band but this is the exact reason why I chose not to. Instead I got a ring that has diamonds on three sides of the ring. Here are some pics.

I love the eternity band however I went with a half band because I was told the eternity band couldn't be resized which made me nervous. I love my wedding ring and am very happy with a half band of diamonds I believe there is a pic in my album

IF I a wedding band with diamonds ... I'll be doing 7 diamonds. I know its random, but my grandmothers wedding band that I wear every day has 7 diamonds and my e-ring has 7 diamonds so I feel like I need to keep the theme.
I'm still on the fence though. I do know an eternity band isn't for me. I'm super hard on my hands and no one SEES the bottom of my hands so I really don't understand them.
