European Salon

I went for my hair and make-up trial at European Salon. Angela and Louisa were AWESOME!!!!! I automatically fell in love with the airbrushed make-up. They were a little pricey, but the service is worth it. Unlike other salons, they are willing to open the store early with a full staff just to tend to my wedding party.

You got your hair and makeup done? How would you describe airbushed makeup? The way it looks and feels? How much did it cost???

I''m getting married on July 4th this year -- YIKES!!!! They airbrush the make-up -- Lousia did my face, neck, and chest (she''s also willing to do my legs since I have so many scars). The airbrushing felt very natural. Light - not cakey. It doesn''t rub off. It''s a little pricey - I think I''m paying somewhere between $125-$175 ( i don''t remember, because I left my contract at the office). Patti owns the place (she''s Louisa''s mom) and she knew exactly how I wanted my hair. I''ll post their info, once I get back to the office. The great thing about them, is that they are so willing to work with you. They can come to your house/location or do it right in their salon. I''m having my entire bridal party, as well as my mom and MOI get their hair and make-up done. They are great!!!

In terms of pricing. Just for the bride...assume you are going to spend about $300 for hair and make up. Cost varies depending on where and what time you want to get started, and if you want airbrush or regular makeup done. For my bridal party, it''''s about $200-$250 per person -- the same (w/hair and make-up). Again, I can''''t express how great they are. They have been very accomodating and easy to work with. I''''m having a total of 10 people made-up for my wedding day, and have agreed to start as early as 6:30!!!! I met Tracey for the first time today (I had to go to the salon to finalize the details) and she has the best personality. It''''s unfortunate that some people on the board have criticized her for her early postings. Bottom line I thought she was very nice and sincere. So -- THANK YOU TRACEY, PATTI & LOUISA!!!!
