What color did you get your gown in? I'm pretty sure all of the EOM dresses are made of silk (I know mine is) and I got mine in 'silk white' but I never asked what other colors it came in! Did anyone esle with EOM get a different color or know what other colors there are???

Re: Eve of Milady brides- color question
I have an eom dress. My dress is considered diamond white. The skirt is organza. I didn't even realize the dresses came in different whites.
How funny we both have eom dresses and we are both getting married at Lombardi's on the Sound.

Diamond white to me is more like white. Its not stark white -- if that makes sense.
To me my dress is white, but technically its diamond white.

Re: Eve of Milady brides- color question
Sorry I got to this thread late but just got back into town recently. Mine is silk white (just slightly off-white because of the natural fiber)... all that means is it is not stark. It is NOT ivory in any way.
But then it gets more confusing with other materials - the WHITE color in organza or chiffon from this designer is ***NOT*** the same as the white in Eve's silk (since silk cannot ever be pure white due to the natural fibers.) Organza will look very bleachy white.
So I guess what that means is that each gown is different. My silk with english net overlay gown will be off-white but only because I chose white netting over white silk. Others chose WHITE netting over ivory, believe it or not. That changes how much color or tint the gown shows.
So in my opinion, the most contrasting stark bright white might be ORGANZA or netting... and then silk would be just barely off white, next diamond white would be a tiny bit darker... and finally antique ivory would show a very light and warm ivory tone.
Here's a pic that shows the difference between white and antique ivory from our designer (my sample is shown in antique ivory on the RIGHT but I chose to make mine white): - HTH!
