We are thinking of doing this one summer weekend? Do you think it is worth the trip?

Go, go go!!!! Its the sweetest place on earth. FH and I went for an extended weekend and that's where he proposed to me!!!

I agree. FI had never been there and I had not been there since I was younger so last Labor Day Weekend we went. We both loved it!!

Since your only going for the weekend, you should splurge and stay at Hotel Hershey. Its voted one of the best hotels in the nation!!!

Make sure to spend some time in the spa there too. Where else on earth can you get a chocolate massage.

I have never been but ee are going next month with DH's brother & sister and families. I think we are staying at the Best Western in Harriburg.

Personally... I love Hershey park, but I find it's more for the little ones then us 'big kids'.. It's a cool place to go if you LOVE chocolate.. everything you see, eat, etc.. is chocolate..

We stayed at the Hershey Lodge and it's very expensive.. my co-worker went last weekend w/ her family and even using her AAA discount it still cost her $500 There are several other hotels that are just as nice, and cost a lot less.. I think there is a Days Inn in the area that's pretty nice, plus a lot cheaper.

The cool thing about the Hershey Lodge is when you check in they give you Hershey bars, the wallpaper is Hershey kisses and the pillow cases as well. It's cute.

If you want 'big kid' rides.. I would suggest Dorney Park.. For $35 you get 2 parks in 1. You get a huge park full of awesome rollercoasters and you all get a huge park filled with water rides.. It's a blast.. - just another option for you.

Christine, when we went, we stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Harrisburg. It is only about 10 minutes away.

I used to work for Hershey Chocolate USA and you should go to Hershey Park. It is awesome. Stay at the Hotel Hershey, go to the park, go on a tour of the factory. You get to taste the chocolate as it is made. There is nothing like a fresh Reese's Cup coming off the factory line. It tastes totally different! I loved it. It is also cool to see Amish country and all.

DH and I are going to Hershey next month some time. We are going to stay in a log cabin at the Hershey Campground!! We are so excited!!

Im soooo excited..Im leaving for Hershey at 7AM tomorrow..I will post a review when I get back. We've had this planned since May!

i love that place, have been to many concerts there and rode the rides too.....and come on the place smells like chocolate
