Ever see that wedding show on TLC?

The one where they do the whole Wedding for 5000k... and they call this a 'reality' show.. haha

Maybe I'm just cynical about it.

Personally, I would hope to maintain some measure of control of my life's major events.

Maybe that chick who wants to beg people to pay for her wedding should go on this show. One less BS site on the web is always good.

tell me about it!!!!! I don't think I would ever do that because I am the only
one that knows exactly what I want and how I have always envisioned my
wedding and for $5000 I don't think I would get alot done, but then again I'm
not very creative (don't even know how to wrap up a darn gift right LOL)
but I guess these girls have confidence in their close ones huh?

I guess they have a whole LOT of confidence in their close friends... which is never a bad thing.. in fact it's good to be able to so trust friends like that. I trust my friends fully..

But for my Wedding... My friends might have the Officiant standing up there during the ceremony where an Easter Bunny costume...haha

No wait.. that would probably be ME..

But I've seen too many times when people who I may know casually have grandiose ideas or have tried to play match-maker and everything just all falls apart.... good intentions aside of course.

Now imagine leaving this responsibilty for one's Wedding day.. nope... I don't think so.

And for 5K too.. are they kidding us?

that's funny!!!!! I also think those wedding planners are a bit pushy
if you ask me. There was one episode in which I guess the girl wanted
her wedding on the beach and instead of buying a dress, they had her in
this ugly white bathing suit (definitely not my style) I don't care how casual
a wedding is couldn't they find her a simple white dress. Her mom was
totally opposed to this and went out and spent some of the money on a
more 'traditional' gown, well the wedding planner told her off and immediately
returned the gown. Um........Hello!!! you should never take the joy of a
mother seeing her daughter walk down the aisle in a wedding gown
(well, unless it's the bride herself since she could do whatever she wants)
but I continue to watch the show because I will admit sometimes they
have really cool ideas (like decorating or flower stuff

Did either of you see the wedding on The Wedding Story that took place at Flowerfield? It was on at 2pm on a Mon or Wed. I think last week. I'm getting married there and I missed that episode.

Oh yeah.. you speak the truth. One of the other posters said that it was named 'For Better or For Worse.' Most of the times the cheese factor of that show makes it worse.. Much worse! haha

It likes saying the Real World is about the real world... it's pretty bad. They should just show a REAL wedding.
