did you find that you've lost friends???

i actually lost my maid of honor in the beginning of my engagement. she became a totally different person and like never asked me to hang out anymore. i also lost touch with a close guy friend that i used to hang out with all the time. now all of a sudden he's expecting an invite to the wedding.

isn't it so weird?? like i always thought my ex-MOH was jealous or whatever. and i thought that my guy friend just stopped talking to me b/c i was 'no fun' anymore. i dunno. anyone else in this boat?

My BF/MOH stop talking to me for 3 months after she found out that I got engaged. Eventhough she keep telling me she is very happy for me she just stop calling or returning my calls. So I drag myself to her house and we had a long talk. Apparently she was upset and a bit jealous because she's been with this guy for 8 years & was hoping she'll get engage first before me, but still nothing (they eventually broke up).

We're finally back to normal (partner in crime)..and I'm happy that I started the conversation. Sometimes all we need is a good one on one, good listening skills and a lot of understanding.

something like this is happening to me. 1 of my good friends recently got married and another engaged and they have definitely changed. i've said it before and i'll say it again weddings bring out the best in people and unfortunately the worst too.
