Didn't you say last week they were letting a bunch of people go? That sucks. I know what that is like... happened to me about seven years ago.

Didn't you say your job was safe for the time being?

We are going down to the bare minimum people. I get to stay... but my friend Jen has 1 hour to clean out her desk and leave

It is safe for me because no one else can do my job.

I am looking for a new job anyway though. It just sucks to see eveyone leave. There are only going to be 4 of us here and the CFO. All of the account executives and store people are gone. Now we are only doing direct sales (phone and internet). I just had to ship out checks to about 10 people

sorry to hear this, Julie .. I've been thru this , and seeing people fired and/or a company downsizing, etc., is SO difficult to handle on a daily basis (not to mention so stressful)

That's how th4eydo it by me. Maybe I should start looking. The good people seems like the first people to be let go.
