so my mom called me and told me my dad came home last night and he didnt want to say much so i called him from work today and asked him what happned.. he said 'u dont want to know' he was going to brooklyn to see family that had come from pr to visit he got lost coming going there and while there someone crashed the front of his new pickup truck,(this happened in brooklyn) then he was a few minutes away from home... on brentwood rd. in brentwood - long island...stopped at a red light.. he said someone pulled up next to him and got out and was asking for directions so my dad opened the window the next thing he knows the guy pulled a gun to my dads head and named the gang he was in.. they were going to shoot my dad in the head ... but he must have an angle watching over him because a car pulled up behind him and the gang members jumped in there car and left... i just found this out .. and im in tears.. my dad could have been killed last night.. i just told my boss who is a criminal attorney and he said that this type of thing is known with this gang.. its there way of initiating people.. ooo my god.. my dad... ahhhhhhh i dont know what to feel ... im so upset

Oh my god!!! That is soooooo scary. Thankfully he is OK! An angel was def watching him! Give him big when you see him!

OMG!!! I have tears in my eyes. I can't imagine how scared you must be. Thank god he is ok, I am glad he had an angel on his shoulder. There has to be something more that can be done about these gangs.I hear more and more about them in schools and even elementary and jr. high. It is bad.I will say a prayer for everyone so it never happens to you.

Something kind of sort of similar happened to my dad-- he was picking up the paychecks for his workers at the main headquarters and two masked men came in and held him at gunpoint demanding money. They ended up stealing 30k! My dad was devasted b/c he is a retired cop and never inhis 20 years of service did a person hold a gun to his head. It is hard and scary and you worry so much!

Oh my goodness! Thank God your dad is ok and I am so sorry to hear that he had to go through that!!! Someone is definitely watching over him! I am happy that he is home and safe!

I am so thankful that your dad is ok.
It must have been very scary and I am glad he wasnt harmed.
My brother and i were held up in our house last july, 2 days before my bday. 3 masked guys with guns, I cannot say how scary and horrifying the situation was, you completely forget everything, they were demanding the burlar alarm be turned off and i couldnt even remember where the alarm keypad was, luckily, after a few minutes, it goes on full blast which scared them and they took off. Scariest moment of my life, I can tell you that I thought i would be dead that night, but I thank God that we are both alive and were unharmed.
