negative things about my vendors!

ok i keep hearing things about JT - and I am personally happy with it and have had only great experiences but then WHY do they make me want to hide under my desk and cry!

Aw don't feel bad honey. There's probably something bad to say about every single vendor on here. No one is ever perfect but you picked your specific vendors for a reason. If you had all those good and happy butterflies in your stomach when you picked your hall, DJ, photo, ect...then go with your gut. Things get exaggerated as they are posted and spread down the line and nothing is ever as bad as it seems. Cheer up Charlie

I read a post about my hall being dirty, the windows had streak all over it and the dance floor was scratched up.

Thank god I'm having an evening wedding

Oh Tilde, I've heard nothing but GREAT things about JT. Don't be upset. Your wedding will be spectacular and memorable and everyone will rave about JT and what a beautiful bride you are. Don't let some people's insensitive remarks get to you.

Well said... and if it makes you feel any better Tilde, I've heard a Gazillion great things about Jericho Terrace and am looking forward to my appt with them on Saturday and possibly booking eventually once FH sees it!

You'll always hear a negative here and there... and though it may sting a little to hear it... turn it into an opportunity for you to address it with JT and to make your wedding day even MORE perfect!

Aww... Matilde... if you're happy with your choice of vendors then who cares what everyone is saying. I've read a few of the posts about JT and I feel like those are things that will bother you if you let it. Look at what past JT brides have said and I'm sure they all raved about it. You made the right choice... don't start to second guess yourself now.

i know i am always going to hear bad things here and there ESPECIALLY since i have to wait TWO YEARS since we booked for the actual day to come. . .but it makes me sad that everyone is not as excited as I am ( as we are) about JT!

FH always yells at me when i show him those threads - he is like 'YOU BURST INTO TEARS WHEN YOU WALKED IN. . . what do you need God himself to come down and sign the contract' LOL anyways i feel better now that i vented- it is just stinky and i have to stop reading them!

What bad things have you heard? The only thing I keep reading is about the cakes.

everyone always has something to say about every place. do not worry

Sometimes I wonder what ppl are thinking when they complain about the most minor things(for example, someone said ohh yeah I was going to book the Wmill but its on a main road?!! are you kidding me!!. . .I think your place is lovely * don't worry about what other ppl think . . .if you love it then it is perfect! The food is amazing and so is everything else----no worries!

unfortunately you are gonna have to develop a thick skin about your vendors/RH being on this board. cause as someone else said--you will always find that SOMEBODY has something negative to say about SOMEONE. no vendor is perfect---be it hall, photographer, limos, florist, etc.

just remember that YOU picked your place for a reason, and YOU fell in love with it. the only time you listen to complaints about something is if it is a typical thing you hear over and over again, and that vendor is being reported to BBB or is featured on Shame On You! or something! (that actually DID happen to a popular vendor...and thank goodness girls posted it, cause many ppl got their $$ back and didn't do business with them)

anyways--bottom line: you love your vendor...forget all the little complaints! cause from now till your wedding day--you'll hear MORE and more. just stand by your choice.

i havent hear ANYONE in a while say anything bout Floral terrace...there arent many of us...but u kno what...im gonna go with my instinct....which u should do wth urs...u loved it right from the beginning...


i have been to a wedding, my prom...at JT its great. dont stress out about it.

when i read something nice i get like over the top ecstatic and when i read something negative i am devestated (sp? lol)

its just my first wedding and i am kind of clueless since we want to do everything on our own. . .so i want to be 100% sure of everything

anyway, i love my hall and all my vendors so far so i have to STOP reading these negative things!

I agree, I wouldn't want to hear anything bad said about my vendors. On the flip side, I haven't heard anything bad about JT...my best friend is getting marriend there next August and she is as happy as anything with them! I've been to 2 bridal expo's there and the food was great and the rooms are gorgeous. You have nothing to worry about, some people will just say bad things because maybe they had a bad experience with one person there and they dont' know how to handle it so they just trash talk the place.

omg! i hear you! i get so scared b/c JT gets mixed reviews!!!

but you know what, its important to hear the good and the bad. The bad things you hear will better prepare you...
we'll keep our fingers crossed!
