I definitely liked the whole show except the part of how she & Big got back. I was crying for Charlotte & Harry too. How cute was that baby?

I...with big's response to her asking him to come up...
In the pilot episode, after their date Carrie asks Big if he's ever been in love. He replies 'abso-f^&in-lutely'! That line was classic tonight.
And I think John is such a perfect name for Big. He was so mysterious and out there but in reality he was just a regular guy!
I'm glad it wrapped up nice and neat with no loose ends.

OMG!!!!!!! I am still crying!!!!!!!
I think that was one of THE best series finales ever!!!!!!!! I cried almost through the whole thing. Everything about it was wonderful!
And Big and Carrie..finally! I am so happy yet so sad!

i don't know, i think that john was a good name for big. he was always like the jfk, jr type...he had a strong, not to go unnoticed, classic look and john is just a classic name for a classic guy on the most classic show...he couldn't have a trendy name because he was not a trend!

At first I thought it was too sappy (definitely not the style of the show) but I was pretty happy with the ending. It was touching and yes I cried! I liked how she ended up with Big; I didn't care for Barishnakov (sp)? A lot of finales have a similar style show; everybody is completed in some way. I think, for the most part, the writers wanted to leave the characters likable. The most amazing transformation has been Samantha!! She has shown her human side!!

I have mixed feelings. I'm so thrilled with the way Miranda's, Charlotte's, and Samantha's stories ended but I really thought Carrie would end up alone. Like someone else said, things just fell into place too neatly for Carrie and 'John.' After all the chances they had, and the times he mistreated her.... I guess I'm just too pessimistic. And I thought NYC was the only true love of her life.

I loved the ending! I'm so happy Charlotte and Harry are getting their baby and that Carie dumped Aleksandr! Also, I love how they told us Big's name on the cell phone! Did anyone else hear about a movie coming out?

I was crying when Harry came home with the papers that they are going to get a baby. I thought that was so wonderful.
I cried about Steve's mom. My great grandmother had that and when she went out walking panic mode always set it because we would have to go running and looking for her. Thank goodness the gate had a squeek and we would here when she wanted to take a walk. It's a very scary and hearthbreaking situation.
I was so happy for Samantha. She found love. I would have loved it if she said she loved Smith. But the way they ended it with her I thought was great. It really showed some emotion and her characters true colors came out.
I cant believe Big's name is John. That was a shocker.
The one thing I did really love was how she went right to their meeting spot and like a familiar feeling they were all there like they were waiting for her return.

I really like it a lot. I think 'john' on her cell phone says it all as does he 'absaf lutely' comment (refering to the pilot eposide) I am happy with it.
All except the 'we pick her up in 6 months' re: the baby. that is not how it is done. You don't get the photo until about 2 months or so before you get the baby. The baby is 6-9 months old typically when you pick her up and the baby on SATC looked that old already. Just a little detail that annoyed me.

Jim & I saw it.. It was sorta dull in our opinion. I guess it's suppose to end sorta openended. Still.. I thought there'd be .. more.. somehow. It wasnt BAD just wasnt 'all that'.
Not much to talk about at the cooler, ya know?
ETA : It was touching when Samantha got her man back..
