ex boyfriend engaged!!!
thats a tough one!!! is he your ex fiance and or ex boyfriend? i can see an ex fiance being way worse!!! as for now, are you engaged or dating someone because if your dating someone you know your gonna marry, i wouldn't worry- be happy with where you are and who your with!! if your happy now then it shouldn't matter!!

Yes I am dating someone wonderful and he is the one for me and I know you are right and I shouldn't worry I just can't believe he got engaged first lol I know it's kind of selfish of me to say that lol

ex boyfriend engaged!!!
If you truly love the person you are with then you wouldn't care- If you are questioning or upset over your ex then you should ask yourself if you are ready to marry your current boyfriend

Re: ex boyfriend engaged!!!
it's not terrible to be upset about it..... it's normal I think to feel a little weird/upset/maybe even jealous of an ex you used to love. it doesn't mean you still love him or anything like that. if anything you probably just want what he now has.my moh was the same way when her ex got engaged. now she is too so she's like ha! but before that she was like he's such a ******* why does he get to be married first lol. she def didn't want him back or had secret feelings. she just wanted what he had. plus she felt she was a better catch (which she is) so why did he get engaged first.
just realize how happy you are and who cares about him. or like my moh does joke about his probably expensive divorce in the future
plus it's not a race to the finish line.

ex boyfriend engaged!!!
I don't know, I think it's a little weird for you to be so upset about it. It's not a competition to be engaged first and that's how it sounds to me, like you valued getting engaged first even though it really shouldn't matter. I have an ex-fiance and could care less whether he was engaged, married or in a relationship. And when another boyfriend got married I was genuinely happy for him.I'm not trying to be mean, I just find it an odd reaction. Maybe just don't think about him and his relationship since it doesn't impact you and your life and enjoy the fact that your current BF will be popping the question soon.

I agree. Getting married/engaged shouldn't be a competition.

ex boyfriend engaged!!!
Coming from someone who has waited 12 years to get married and see plenty of friends and ex's get married before me.. I know it sucks and you keep thinking to yourself when te Efff will it be my turn, but now that I am engaged and ready to get married I look back and think about what a brat I was sometimes and realize you can't force someone to marry you, ultimatums don't work and just bc someone else is ready to take the plunge doesn't mean you and your bf are. It's your time when you are both ready NOT bc someone else was

Re: ex boyfriend engaged!!!
No, I definitely appreciate your post and I feel it was very honest...We can all act as if we are above feeling sad or angry and in reality if we look deep into ourselves will know, how exactly it feels...I love my boyfriend and know we are both ready...We have spoke about it a bunch of times...He wants it to be a surprise and so do I, so I haven't brought up anything more about a wedding even though we both love to talk about the future we will have together :)

ex boyfriend engaged!!!
I was engaged before my ex. He acutally freaked when he found out. His gf at the time was pushing for the ring but he refused to talk about it for quite some time. (heard this through a mutual friend) I know he has recently gotten engaged to her and I could care less. I know that my FH and I are happy and if he is then great for him. It never really bothered me. I did find it weird tho that when he found out I was engaged he refused to talk about the subject with his gf.. He was always kinda strange tho..
