Exciting HM news!

So I dont know why i decided to do this, but i checked into what cruises were leaving during my HM even though I have one already booked... Im booked with RCCL in a superior oceanview... and came across a NCL balcony that was actually cheaper than the one we have booked... We would also spend 3 days in the bahamas as oppossed to 2 on the other cruise...

Just had to share my joy with someone bc Im going to try to keep this as a surprise for FH We've never had a balcony before bc we just couldnt justify the cost... I dunno where or when this deal came into effect, but Im happy I stumbled across it

Lesson for the day: Continue to check on things even after they are booked... you might get an awesome deal

if it was more $ than what im already booked for, i wouldnt have switched.... but its $200 less... so why the hell not right? lol

i hope we dont get spoiled... hhaha... now, im deciding if i want a cabin on the back of the ship ever had that?

i was told that u always want a cabin in the middle cause u feel the rocking more in the ends of the ship...but i dont know if its true and u r really only in ur room to sleep...btw i def got spoiled by the balcony i loved sitting out there in the mornings watchin ...it was pretty nice

that is an owesome deal! :) wow! we are also taking a cruise for our honeymoon, but we have not yet done any booking or even gone to any agency to talk about it and find out prices. i have been looking on their cruise websites for prices but of course you always find the craziest of the highest prices on their site, so soon we will be going to an agency to check out what they have! :) we are thinking of doing a 10 day carribean one with either royal carribean or carnival! id rather carnival since we have cruised with them about 3x already, but it really all depends what cruise is available during the time after our wedding and the prices and the islands they go to! :)

have you cruised with royal carribean? we havent and thats why im not 100% about it all. but carnival i know everything about it!

use cruisecompete.com when you're looking to book... travel agents compete for your biz if you dont mind doing it online (you can of course talk to them on the phone) ... ive gotten the best deals this way...

i cruised with royal back in 04... then went on 2 carnivals... now it looks like ill be on norwegian for the next one... we loveddddd royal... staff and food was better on royal than carnival IMO...

we love carnival but that is the only cruise line we have taken so we dont know how royal really is! but i have heard royal is great and could be better than carnival in many ways. that their staff is awesome and their food is also better! its funny cause i heard the same thing! :) maybe we will try royal for our hm, lets see what happens! we want to take the newest ship if we do! :) we were looking and carnival has a new ship called DREAM that is only taking its first cruise in september, and wed love to take that one but i was looking and they dont have any good islands its going to for november! just the bahamas witch we already went to! :) i was told by fh sister in law to check out royal's new ship. she said they have great islands their going to in november, so lets see! :)

ill let you know what cruise line we went with.. hehe! :)

we're hooked... we really dislike land vacays now... LOL but we're doin aruba also so we'll have to just suck it up its gonna be a rough HM...
