Exercise

Do any of you ladies exercise? If so, what are your favorite ways to exercise? How often do you exercise and for how long?

I HATE exercising but am realizing with my standstill of weight loss I may have to do some. My FH and I go walking but I might need something a bit more. In my complex, there is a fitness center and I also own Jillian Michaels 30 day shred but am just so lazy when it comes to working out. I think I may have to break out that DVD and do that every morning and then go walking at night with my FH. I hear that the video is really hard and I am scared

Exercise

I HATE to exercise..I try to find every excuse not to do it but I know I need to do it to help lose weight. My favorite form of exercise is walking. Listening to good upbeat music helps keep me going. I hate running I always get a cramp :(

Exercise

I hate it too--I just got back to the gym two weeks ago,and haven't felt this good in so long!! I love the treadmill and elliptical. I put spotify on my phone and just turn on 90's radio. During my last workout, I did something serious to my foot and can't walk, I'm actually UPSET that I can't work out for the first time ever. I'm going to the podiatrist tomorrow to see what's up and when he thinks I can get back to the gym!

Exercise

Classes are always good! I take spin and Zumba- spin is so good because you really can go at your own pace and zone out but the classroom environment keeps you going. And I always said I wouldnNEVER do Zumba but one of th instructors talked me into it and as stupid as I think I look doing it TRUST ME everyone else does too! Lol

Exercise

Ok, so I may be the laziest person ever, well kind of. I HATE EXERCISING!! I can always come up with some excuse not to. It's really bad. That being said, when I actually get into a routine, I love Jillian Michael's DVDs, I have all of them. I just don't like the kickboxing one, mainly because I don't like kickboxing lol. She is tough though & the videos are at the longest 40 minutes, usually 30 though. They aren't easy & I have seen the results from them. Check out amazon, they have them cheap. Hopefully that helps. I am hoping once we finalize a date, it will get my butt in gear & make me realize this is actually happening lol

Re: Exercise

I despise waking up and getting my a$$ out of bed, it's a constant battle, but I love it while I'm there and how I feel after. I have a tredmill and weights in my basement that I use sometimes, I just find that I get more out of it if I'm in a different environment.

I do the elliptical for 45 mins and then legs/arms & abs for 30 mins alternating every other day I'm there. If I don't make it to the gym, I try to wake up and run before work, but this is the first week in I don't know how long that I'm 0 for 3 in everything haha, oops.

Exercise

Ugh, I hate exercising but it's definitely something I have to really get back to. The Jillian Michaels DVDs are really good actually, you will see a hugh difference if you stick with it. I liked her Ripped in 30 better than 30 Day Shred so check that out too. I also just started the Couch to 5K which I have done in the past so it's nice to be back at running again.

Exercise

I'm having this problem too. After I had my gastric bypass I was super active. I took up running and was doing wonderful with it. Since I started my new job, however, I'm having a hard time finding the time to work out. FH got us a membership to a gym and I WANT to go... but my motivation is in the toilet. I'm having a lot of body issues lately and I'm not quite sure why.

I'm also just exhausted. My office drains me.

I go at least 3-4 times a week for at least 1 hour. I started at a half hour 3-4 times a week, but I figure while I'm there what's another 30 minutes!

Good point! 60 minutes is nothing in the grand scheme of things but I am just so lazy!

Exercise

I hate exercising too but have seen a difference when I do it. So I know I need to to lose the last 40lbs. I have been doing couch 2 5k and trying to do it 3 x a week. Along with the sisterhood of the shrinking jeans daily workout challenge for the month. I want to add a day of yoga in there somewhere. I do find myself not able to get out of bed to do the workouts so I have to do them after work and if I have to cook or something else it derails me from working out cause then I go 'oh its too late to workout.'

Exercise

I have been going to the gym and doing the abs machines, biceps, triceps, legs, then 20-30 minutes of cardio either on the treadmill or elliptical.

Exercise

I used to hate exercising but now working out is my favorite hobby lol I can easily spend 2-3 hours at the gym 5-6 days a week. Only issue is my schedule doesn't allow me to stay that long anymore that I'm back to classes. Starting with 30 mins 3 days a week is perfect and you can add time or days as you work up to it.

To burn fat do cardio! Walking is great, treadmill, elliptical, bike anything like that. Make sure you stretch too it really helps avoid cramps and injury! Once you feel you are in better shape if you want to add some basics like crunches, squats, push ups, planks, leg lifts, light weights those are great for toning and building muscle. Once you get into the hang of it I really think it becomes more enjoyable

OHH and I highly recommend Blogilates on youtube! Just google her. You can do her short little videos in the comfort of your own home for free and they are awesome!!

Exercise

I have learned that youtube is very helpful when it comes to exercises, I am an avid fan of 'Bexlife' on youtube she definitely gets me going. I tend to do her exercises in the morning before jumping in the shower and also again at night before hopping back in the shower.

Also something that I tried a few weeks ago is crossfit classes. I started twice a week, now just once a week. It is intense but there is beginners course. Great for results.
