Extensions

So Im thinking of putting extensions in my hair for my wedding.

Has anyone had this done? I know Chrissy & Janna did. Does the salon provide the hair or do I have to get it on my own? Where can I buy the hair and did anyone have problems with the pieces falling out?

I know.. Im full of questions today. Please bear with me. I have a bad case of bridal brain. I cant function today. I just came back from my cousins crazy bachelorette party weekend, so Im shot right now

Re: Extensions

Your hairdresser should provide those for you...but honestly Janie, I guarantee you 100% they're going to tell you that you dont need it...you have thick and long hair...you really dont need them.

Nope not at all...unless you get jerry curls...the amount of hairspray and all that they put in your hair, theres no room for frizz...trust me...but of course you can get them if you want...

Your hair trial came out awesome. I want the curls/waves like yours.

Re: Extensions

I bought the hair piece from the beauty supply store on 5th Avenue & 85th Street in Bay Ridge. It was $19.99, and Mia took the piece, and attached wig clips to it, and viola!

Have a hair trial without them first and see what it comes out like...then decide whether or not you want extensions...

Re: Extensions

I am doing it. I have very fine baby hair. I have to do it for my 1/2 up and 1/2 down.

Re: Extensions

I might be using hair extension because I am not sure how short my hair will look after its curled. My stylist is bringing the piece(s) with her the day of. You can get the permanent extension which is sewn into the head or have the ones that clip into your hair for just the day (which is what I am having). I think for the majority you have to purchase the extension from a beauty supply store.
