Extreme Home Makeover

Does anyone else watch this every week and cry?

I love this show, these families are soo deserving. I think the saddest part is when the families cry b/c they are so happy.

So far, the one that made me cry the MOST (until next week, I'm sure, 'cause I was THERE) was the episode when the Mother passed away rather unexpectedly, and Dad was left with 6 (i think) kids. The 16yr old daughter was the 'mother', and had no childhood! The neighbor painted the Mom's portrait, and the Dad just broke down and cried like a baby. They built a 2story gym, so that the kids could train and get scholarships, 'cause basketball held them all together.

I thought the one, I think it was last week was good, where the father went blind b/c he got shot...and they made his house so all the walls felt differently.

It doesn't matter which one, they all make me cry!

Yeah it was a great episode!. Did you see the preview for next week its the Long Island family from Saint James!! I cant wait to see it!

OMG I watched this one the other night (I TIVOed it) I was BAWLING! It was so incredibly sad. Esp. when the gave the $ to the families of the murdered victums...

last nights was such an inspiring story-word taken from show if you saw it

ME! Every week, I break out the kleenex! I love when the cast is moved to tears and I've even seen a few where the contractor cries... OMG,

ETA: Last night's was great, I LOVED that sculpture, truly gorgeous!

Next week is going to be a rough one.

Seeing that picture of my cousin w/ her babies was just so surreal.
