and also, apparently April 5, 2009 is Palm Sunday.. i dont know what that means, since i'm a jew, but will that effect the amount of people that would come? Is Palm Sunday a huge deal? Pardon my ignorance.

Look just like i was worried about a Thursday night wedding....your family and all the people you love and vise versa will be there no matter what and if you need to fill in a few seats I'll be available . As far as Duet there are sooo many photographers out there that will be able to do your date. There is a reason for everything that happens in life!!!! Let me know who you pick

awwwwwww riss im so sorry!!!! im sure you will find someone else you loveee to do the photog though... and as far as changing the date cuz of palm sunday- yeah you should change your date to january 2009. just so your wedding can be sooner lol i cant wait, can ya tell? love ya <3

hey i got some good news for ya the BM for CLM told me that DUET is really good but they are so aggressive and its not worth it . u want to be comfortable!

I could understand if ur wedding was on Good Friday or Easter Sunday but it's on Palm Sunday...so u should def be fine...if someone says they cant come because of that then they are making up excuses cause they can go to the service before or after ur wedding to receive their palms! Your going to have a beautiful day trust me!
crashing here i know some people like my family celebrate Palm Sunday as big as Easter. We go to mass, the cemetery and then my whole family comes over.
*BUT* I would still just skip the dinner and go to a wedding but there ARE some people who would not be able to make it. . . but definitely not such a large number that you should change your date!

good 2 hear mdawg......dont be sad......palm sunday really isnt a big deal - religious people can still attend mass and make it to your wedding....and there are lots of great photographers i am sure you will find someone else to become excited about

I'm sorry that they are booked! Don't worry about Palm Sunday...it's not a huge deal. People usually go to church in the morning (if they are good about that kind of thing), get their palms, and maybe...maybe make a sunday dinner with family. But it is not like Easter Sunday or anything and a lot of people don't do anything at all. I'm Catholic and if I had a wedding on Palm Sunday, I would totally be there, no problem!

I'm so sorry about Duet! The same exact thing happened to me. I had my heart set on Duet and when I called they said that they were booked all through 2009 for sunday afternoons. I was really upset but I continued my research and found Thomas Paul. All I can say is that things happen for a reason and I'm so glad I didnt get Duet because I am in love with TP's work! I'm sure the same thing will happen to you! Just keep doing your research.
