EYE MAKEUP - YAY or NAY??

Okay - Mary Kay lady & I spent like 3 hours getting this eye look. PLEASE HONEST OPINIONS - do you like it, do you hate it, WHY??

i think it does not show your eyes well enough
and im not crazy about the 'points' of eyeshadow

i would use either more of a himmer, ir a darker brown

She said the main issue is that my eyes have very little lid....

I should also add that i'll be wearing my glasses!!

What I didn't like was the eyeliner BELOW the eye - but she said it's really not good for it to be ON the eye...

I think the color does make your eyes stand out.

If you will have glasses on, maybe go with something more 'defined' to make your eyes stand out more.

If you want the eyeliner in your eye then tell her thats what u want.

I usually dont wear eyeliner ON my eye either, but do a smokey line in the lower lashes only half way accros to make my eyes look bigger (IDK- someone once told me to do that- haha)

The thing is though... when you wear your glasses, it might look totally differant. I used to wear my glasses every day in highschool and had to do my make up accordingly.

I took it off - i think the mascara was bothering my eyes.

The reason the color is so dark is because i couldn't see it with the glasses on... We're going to do another trial to get the total look right....

Here's a pic of me IN my glasses - you can see they are very dark!!

Maybe I should go with purples - a little brighter color!!

i like the little bit of liner under your eye

what i think you should do is clean up your eyebrows a bit - a little thinner and i think it will make you look like you have more of a lid

I know - i really have to have that done! I have to find a good place here in Jersey to do it though!!! I don't want to just go wherever - ya know??? Maybe next week when i'm out there for the shower - i'll get them done!!!

Any good suggestions for places??

Yeah- plums would be great with your eyes. Thats great that she will keep doing trials until you love it.

Its hard when you either dont wear makeup or wear minimal and do it your way for so long. You want to look different for your wedding, but not too different.

Ya - i NEVER wear makeup - so it's difficult to judge what i'm used to - since i'm used to NOTHING....

That's what i keep saying - that i want to look like me, but the best version of me possible!!

I'm really bad at this because me & the mirror do not get along!!!

dont feel bad- they always ask me at the place i get my nails done if i want my brows done.

I twease my own like every 3 days and my brows are a very light blondish red so u can hardly see the regrowth

u can probably get them dont at a nail salon.

The one my me was pretty good- I only got my lip done, but it didnt hurt and wasnt red after. (Its on merrick road on the massapeqa/amityville border)

Or- you can just grab a tweazer and have at it..lol (it doesnt hurt as bad as u would think)

Yes - but in that case you'd have to have an idea of what you're doing!!!!(to do them yourself)
