I'm sorry to say that I'm not feeling the way she did your eyes. Jess....you have such beautiful blue eyes! They would really *pop* with shades of pink and plums.

The ladies from Supreme Nails in Lindenhurst on Wellwood Ave by Kurts Deli do eyebrows pretty good there.

Hey Jess!
I know nearly nothing about make up, BUT...it looks like there is just one color over your lid all the way up to your brow bone. I don't know if that is the result of poor blending or of using two color that are barely different, but you probably want something lighter up by the brow bone to make the eyes pop a little bit.
As far as getting your eyebrows done in Suffolk...what about Nassau? I'm actually from Suffolk, but I go to Hicksville to get my eyebrows threaded. I go to Aaina on Route 107, 1st shopping center on the left after you pass Delco Plaza. I love getting them threaded, I think the shape is so much better than you get with waxing. On your way home, it might be worth getting off the LIE at Exit 41S and taking a little detour.

i like the little bit of liner under your eye
what i think you should do is clean up your eyebrows a bit - a little thinner and i think it will make you look like you have more of a lid
i was just going to suggest that as well! if you get your eyebrows shaped - and if your make up artist defines them with some pencil it will open up your eyes some more - believe it or not, shaping the eyebrows can make a really big difference! so i think you should go for it....
BTW I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE your glasses - i have similair ones, but yours are way cuter!!

i just looked at the pic again - i dont know how you feel about it - but maybe some false lashes would make your eyes stand out even more - when i had my makeup trial he did false lashes on me and WOW they made my eyes look huge! just a thought but i think it might look really good - it might help your eyes stand out a lot with your glasses on - i just dont know if they will be too long and rub on your glasses which would be really annoying - but the false lashes can be trimmed - and you could have them put on for fullness - not to extend the lash length - b/c your eyelashes look a little lost - and full dark lashes really make you focus right on the eyes!
