EYEBROWS . . .

So many of you have AWESOME eyebrows!!!! Please share your secrets (who, what, where, how.)

Did you want to go to an esthetician or do them yourself. I get mine waxed and i tweeze myself like evey other day. Sometimes you just have to find the right person to do them the way you like. But what ever you do don't over tweeze or take too much off b/c it could be a nightmare trying to grow them back.

I go to NYC to get them tweezed by Manana at Frederic Ferkkai. She is the lady on the episode of MTV's Rich Girls.

A pencil is also really good in darkening them.

I do know this from experience! I am open to anything, I just see so many gorgeous eyebrows on people on here!!!!! I don't trust anyone to wax because the last time I did, they took off part of my brow

I am looking for someone good!

I have had good experiences with the Red door salon(the one at Saks) in the city. I have mine tweezed because my eyes are too sensitive for waxing.

How much does it cost??

i usually do mine myself because i am worried about someone chopping them off too thin
i tweeze them like every other day also

No...I don't work in the city. I just like to go to the best and sometimes they are in the city. It is $40 or $45 for them to be tweezed. They do wax too, but tweezing is much better because it is more precise and less irritating.

Manana really gives my full brows shape. The key is cutting them with a scissor and then tweezing.

I have had good experience with Maximus in the Source Mall. Im trying to grow mine in now and its so hard. I totally made the mistake of over tweezing mine.

I tweeze, shape, cut myself - I had a AWFUL experience when I was in HS at a very reputable and expensive place. - they waxed and BURNED me so badly that my brows didn't grow for years !!! - SO........i'm a little petrified !!! haha

I get mine waxed. Honestly, my brows have a very nice shape to begin with and just need to be 'cleaned up'. I get waxed every 2-3 weeks.

My FH stole mt tweezers because he said my eyebrows were disappearing. So now I am growing them in!

I had never done my eyebrows before (I used to pluck stray hairs here and there). Deciding to splurge for the wedding (and I wanted to look good in the pics) I went to Sonia at Bergdorf Goodman at a friend's recommendation.

Beautiful job!!!! I couldn't stop looking in the mirror!! DH couldn't stop looking at me either!! (He couldn't figure out what was different).

I believe she charges $45.

Don't over tweeze!! - I've done that through the years and I have VERY thin eyebrows now. I use a stencil kit by Paula Dorf and then use a MAC pencil to fill in.

I know you are not referring to my eyebrows but....I get mine threaded in NYC. I work in the city so I go during lunch or after work. It is only 6 bucks and I love it. Waxing makes me break out so I have to stay away from it, Threading is so much better!
