Re: eyebrows - do you pluck or wax?
I used wax, but it was too irritating. Then I plucked, and I have to admit it is very addicting! I actually enjoy the feeling of plucking, but I think I lost my touch because they started to look crappy after a while. So…I am growing them out, especially since the whole “skinny eyebrow” fad is supposedly over. I haven’t plucked in over a month and I feel like a hairy beast! I want to have them threaded, but I need to find a good place in Queens…

Where do you live in Queens? I go to a place on bell blvd in bayside called Headlines. It's a hair salon but there are 2 Russian ladies who do threading in there.

Thanks, Marcela. I don't live very far from Bayside so I think I'll check Headlines out. Do you recommend a particular person of the 2 ladies?

You're welcome. I go to which ever one is available. They're both good.

Re: eyebrows - do you pluck or wax?
Threading is the best! There's another place on Bell Blvd- Asha, it's new. She had a place in Astoria and this is her 2nd shop- $5 bucks for eyebrows....
Although, I'll say, I've only been happy w/ the owner, Asha- maybe i should try the other place Marcela was mentioning!
