Dermalogica - Skin Smothing Cream.
I mix it with my toner or sometimes my foundation.

Oil of Olay w/SPF of 30. I have dry/normal and I use it everyday. I also use the under eye product from Loreal. Everyday. At night I've been using a sample of a Lancome cream that I got. I think my skin looks really good, better than it did years ago.

Ladies, thank you all so much for all this info. I think I am going to make an appointment with a dermatologist first and talk to them about a routine and then see what type of cream they reccommend.

Re: Face Moisturizer?

Ya know its funny you ask, b/c this weekend I had a shower to go to, and one of the girls there at my table had the most beautiful skin EVER. So I had complimented her and asked her what she uses, she said Nothing. She uses Noxema every night since she was a teenager (she is 37) and drinks lots of water and never used a moisturizer.

I immediately thought of you b/c I knew you've been using Noxema for years........Do you still use it? So the moron that I am, what did I do? I went out and bought Noxema. LOL

But I still moisturize at night, I use a vitamin E cream.

I ahven't used Noxema in ages!

I use Cetaphil or Dove.

Lately though I've developed 'rosy' cheeks so i definitely want to see the doctor about that.

Jan05Bride... if you're worried about your skin just make sure you wear sunscreen on your face with a minimum SPF of 15.

They have non-comedogenic and oil-free sunscreens that would be better for oily skin.

I'm seriously worried about looking like a raisin in a few years!

ETA: I've always had bad skin ... when do I get to have nice porcelain skin???? Maybe I should see a dermatologist instead of self moisturizing!

I have oily/combination skin and never used a moisturizer for the same reason you mentioned. I noticed now that I am over 35, I do need one, but yet, I STILL get zits!!!! I have given up hope on the porcelain skin idea. The one comfort in that is that my mom had similar skin and didn't get as many wrinkles as her friends as she aged.

I just recently bought Clinique's Superdefense SPF25 for Normal to Oily skin.

I will NEVER use anything else! It's the best - goes on smooth, never ever greasy - i put my makeup on about 30 min later and never have a problem. Plus I like the SPF in it.

eta - i have very sensitive / acne prone skin and i have no problem with this moisturizer! And I used to think the same thing, I have oily skin so why should I moisturize? I was told to use moisturizer for oily skin to prevent wrinkles later on. It doesn't make my skin more oily at all. As a teenager I had super oily skin but as an adult it has become more combination.

I used to only use department store brands - I used Chanel for years, which I loved, but I think you need a change after a while.

Anyways, I have normal skin, but I do get break outs every now and again, and never used moisturizer with SPF in it because I thought it would clog my pores and make me oily. Well - a friend at work who's husband is a dermatologist told me that she uses Purpose moisturizer (it has SPF in it) and she loves it, and now I'm a total convert. I love it - and the best part is that it's so cheap! It's great! At night I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer. I like it, but I think I'll be changing from it once it's all gone.

Re: Face Moisturizer?

I use Oil of Olay and apply it when my face is still a little wet.

I do want to look into getting a 'night cream' soon. Anyone use something they can recommend?
