I went for one last week and I was thinking of keeping up with it so that my face is gorgeous for the wedding. Does anyone go for regular facials? If so, how often do you go and where do you go? Also, how much do you spend?
The place I went to told me to come back next month for another but at $100 each im afraid I cannot afford it. Is going once a month too much??

Nordstrom spa is great. I go every 5 weeks. I think it's worth it. I used to go to Mario Badescu and they are great too. It's just hard for me to get into the City.

You can do regular facials at home. i started mine in December about 4 months before my wedding the last time I am going is a day before. You are getting married in 2009 you can started doing it 6 months every three months. You can exfoliate once or twice every week. and if you can, boil water and use the stream to open up your pores. it will help in a big way. You will be OK.

Well i am prone to breakouts and i usually stay breakout free for awhile after facials. I got this exfoliator from the spa last week and its awesome! Its gentle enough for every day and my skin looks great. I was thinking of asking the dermatologist too since they do them in their office as well. I just have to find out which one is cheaper.

I had one today a micro and photo facial my skin looks amazing and as the days so by it will look even better.

I don't think you need a facial once a month. Do you have a proper skincare regime? I mean it's certainly nice, but it is not necessary. I personally recommend Sothy's in the city. Ask for Xena (sp? Zena??) The facial beds are heated which is amazing!
Also someone mentioned going a day before the wedding- be warned, facials leave your face red for at least 24 hours. And if you haven't had a facial there before, you might be allergic to something. I think facials should be several days before the wedding, and only after you have tried that particular spa and facialist out.

We go to a place called spa of st tropez in port jeff, we go usually once a month and its awesome. My skin is amazing!! Ive recommended this place to alot of people. They are clean, the atmosphere is relaxing and they email you specials all the time

My FMIL is an esthetician. She's really great and I get to be her guinea pig for some of her new treatments!! I love it!! She just got this new machine, some galvanic something or other...anyway, it should be relaxing!!! She gives a great treatment!!

I started to go to mario badesco. I'm actually going this wed and i am going about every 6-8 weeks. i also do masks at home. i agree to be careful going the day before the wedding. your skin might be red and have a reaction. i guess you can tell after you go a few times to the same place. i pay $65 per facial.
