Facials

Did any of you ladies get or start getting facials before your wedding? Do you think its worth it? How often do you go? And if so, can you recommend a place that's good near the Massapequa area? Thanks!

My sister has gone to the center of pain relief and wellness in Babylon Village. I have a gift card for a facial there but I can't tell you anything from personal experience just yet.

Facials - Long Island Weddings

I absolutely recommend getting at least 1 facial before the wedding... don't do it within the 2 weeks before your wedding, just in case you have a reaction to anything. Makes you skin feel smooth and helps clean out your pores, plus its relaxing! Not sure of places in Massapequa, so I can't help you there!

Facials really scare me because I have very sensitive skin but FMIL gets them all the time at Hand and Stone Massage in commack. I'm sure there's one or two in Nassau, they're a chain.

Whats spa envy? Yeah, I was thinking Red Door in Bellmore but was trying to save some $$ lol...how many should you do you think?

I personally didn't go because I didn't want to risk breaking out before the wedding but I now a lot of people that have gone that LOVED it! I definitely would say to try it a month or so before to see how your skin reacts to it.

Jenni at Unique Salon & spa in massapequa is amazing! And there is an amazon.com deal out right for $35 facial (normally $75).
