Fall Brides...Do I need a shawl?

Original post by Murray

I am trying to figure out if I will need a shawl or something for my wedding.

We are getting married on Oct 30th...the ceremony is @ a church @ 2, and the cocktail hour starts at 6. In between we are taking pictures...hopefully outside, depending on the weather at Old westbury gardens.

My question is, do you think I will need a shawl in case it is cold, or do I just suck it up. My dress is strapless. I am ordering cranberry colored pashminas for my BM's since they too will be wearing black strapless dresses with a cranberry sash...but what do I do about myself.

What are all you fall brides doing???

Date Twin Oakslady, where are you getting the cape? I was thinking of something like that, too. Though I'm afraid I blew the whole clothes budget on the dress!

Here's a cape!

oops...the link didn't go right to the page...You need to enter item # P9069. Sorry!

Temperatures in the fall can vary.. I think I would get one and if you need it, use it, but if you don't then forget about it that day.. you don't want to be cursing yourself that day if it is chilly outside. Better safe than sorry!
