farmer's almanac

this was the farmer's almanac online:

November 2004
1st-3rd. Brief spell of cold, especially New England down into Mid-Atlantic. 4th-7th. Clear skies, crisp Mid-Atlantic, then milder. 8th-11th. Rapid temperature changes accompany an intensifying storm: expect a heavy dose of rain/wet snow. Much colder. 12th-15th. Lingering clouds, spotty precipitation. Then turning progressively colder. 16th-19th. Light snow, flurries. Cold. 20th-23rd. Dry, cold. 24th-27th. Wet weather predominates for Thanksgiving. 28th-30th. Lingering showers of rain/wet snow.
December 2004
1st-3rd. Lots of cloud, rain/wet snow showers, then clear, cold. 4th-7th. Storm from Texas moves up to Ohio River Valley, then New England, depositing heavy rain/wet snow. Very cold air follows. 8th-11th. Unseasonably cold but quiet. 12th-15th. Heavy dose of snow. 16th-19th. Considerable clouds, but little precipitation. Cold nights; milder days. 20th-23rd. Rain/snow, then bitterly cold. 24th-27th. The stage is set for a good ol'-fashioned White Christmas for the region, as a storm emerges out of eastern Gulf of Mexico, progresses north along eastern seaboard. 28th-31st. Blustery, very cold with frequent snow showers.
