I agree. Made me cry when I heard it. I think I'm using it.

Re: Father/Daughter Dance

I heard a Tim McGraw song on his special over the weekend... 'My Little Girl'. I love the song, but there is one line in the song that would not make me choose as my song to dance with my father. There is a section where he says something like...'I know one day a boy will ask for your hand...yada, yada... but between you and me, he'll never be good enough'. Ruined the song as a father/daughter dance... I dont see dancing with my father during that verse with my FH looking on. I understand the meaning, and its sweet, and the whole song is beautiful. Thats just my opinion, but its worth downloading.. its very pretty.

Re: Father/Daughter Dance

i have been going over this question in my head too ... my dad doesn't like butterfly kisses and daddys lil girl is always used ... so i was thinking of 'isn't she lovely' by stevie wonder but i still have so much time that it could change ...

as for simply the best ... it is different and if you like it go for it .. this is your moment with your dad .. enjoy it !!

Re: Father/Daughter Dance

I am obsessed with finding the perfect music for the dances and I'm going with Jessica Simpson's 'You Don't Have to Let Go' on the In This Skin album. I love it and I think it fits perfectly. It's also something different. It's hard to find the perfect song, but you will!

Re: Father/Daughter Dance

I think 'My Girl' is really cute, but recently I have been leaning toward 'Lullabye' by Billy Joel.....its a cute song that he is singing to his daughter.

Sorry! Can't really help you with father/daughter. I can tell you that I am thinking of dancing with my mom though to 'In my daughter's eyes'. But it's not definete!

My cousin is going to sing this at my wedding for me and my mom. I don't know what to dance with her to though.
