Father/Daughter Dance
I'm really struggling with a Father/Daughter dance song. I feel like people (and by people I mean my mom) want me to pick 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland, but I'm not feeling it 100%. Although, I'd be happy with that song, I just heard it 3 weddings that I've went to, so I'd rather do something different. Here are some of my front-runners. I'd appreciate any help, lol. My dad said that he doesn't care, but when it gets closer, I might just burn him a bunch on a CD and have him choose. Right now, I'm leaning towards Nancy Sinatra, but I don't know because I really like Daddy's Little Angel too. There are just too many good ones out there!
1) I Loved Her First - Heartland
2) It's For My Dad - Nancy Sinatra
3) Daddy's Little Angel
4) Daddy Dance With Me
Or any other suggestions. I don't want to do 'Butterfly Kisses' for sure though.

I'm dancing with my Dad to Tim McGraw, My Little Girl. I like the heartland song but thought it was too much for me to handle. This one won't make me ball my eyes out, hopefully

Same as above. My Little Girl by Tim McGraw has been the song I wanted way before I ever was engaged.. it gives me goosebumps and makes me cry. I don't know how I'm going to make it through the dance!!

Strongly considering My Girl. Part of me feels like its cliche, but as long as I can remember, any time that song comes on my dad sings every word, and he is a huge fan of Motown and its a huge reason why I have such an eclectic taste in music.
I want it to be a surprise, I don't think he'll object to it.

My dad and I were going to dance to Alison by Elvis Costello, because he named me after that song. (Don't listen to the lyrics, it doesn't make any sense, but it's what he's wanted since I was born). He said he liked the way Elvis said Alison. But, since my dad has passed, we're skipping the parent dances altogether.

Have you heard 'Walk with You' by Edwin McCain? My dad and I were going to use that before he passed away. It's a great song :)
No I haven't. I'll listen to it on youtube. Thanks!
