So i left it up to my dad to pick the song, he really wanted something to do with the wedding.. a job.. and he hasn't been able to find a song he likes yet... Any suggestions.

Re: Father Daughter song

I gave my dad about 5-6 songs to choose from. He listened to them and then my dad told me that he wanted to dance with me to the first song we ever danced to. I was shocked that he would remember but then as a joke he said 'I'm a Little Teapot'. I thought it was hilarious and the more that we joke about it, the more we are considering doing it as a surprise right at the beginning of our dance. Then we are going to start our actual dance, I Loved Her First by Heartland.

We are using Rascal Flattts - My Wish

I loved her first is a beautiful song though! Those lyrics made me cry....

My dad is picking the song that we dance to as well (It's a surprise though) He did this with my Sister too at her wedding. He picked 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland for them. So Pretty!

That was the song we danced to... LOVE IT

This is the song that my dad picked as well. It's great that you're letting him pick - makes it much more meaningful. My dad's not a big cryer but he did cause he knew every word of this song!

Same here... I had my Dad pick and he was between 'I loved her first' and 'My little girl'- Tim McGraw, he ended up choosing i loved her first.

Those are my 2 top choices- my family lives in Nashville, so its gotta be country!
