Leslie (Goldi1021) is an 06 bride whose father had recently passed away and her brother also walked her down the aisle. Yes, that is very ok.
She also danced with her brother but I'm not sure to what song. You can send her an FM, she's usually on at night.
I'm sorry for your loss.

I think it is a lovely thought. You both share in the loss and now you will have a special moment to share in the joy of your wedding day.
I will not be dancing with my brother, although both of my parents are deceased. I will dance with my children and there will be a photo montage of my parents with their wedding songe song 'Always'. The MC will invite people to come to the dance floor with their own parents or children during the song.

This is exactly what I did. My brother walked me down the aisle and I danced with him. My husband danced with his mom at the same time. We danced to 'The Prayer' by Josh Groban. Neither my husbands father or my father is still alive.

That is wonderful. I think that song is appropriate too.

i'm undecided on having my brother or mother walk me down the aisle... but i will dance with both of them at the wedding & even switch it up and do a special dance with my ffil at the reception! its your day, there is no 'right' or 'wrong'

Re: Father is deceased dancing with brother
My father died a couple of years ago.
I had my mom walk me down the aisle and I danced with my brother to 'In My Life' by The Beatles.
You can do whatever you want.

i think it's a great idea. My FH lsot his mother and is dancing with his sister in lieu of the Mother-Son dance. it's definitely been done before and will bring a tear to everyone's eye... it will be great!! don't worry!

I think that is a perfect idea. It may be too difficult, but what about the lutheran vandross 'dance with my father again'.
