What's everyone doing for the Father/Daughter dance? Every traditional song pretty much makes me ball, I'm looking for something kind of uplifting and maybe different. Any suggestions?

I also considered 'Landslide' by Fleetwood Mac until I found 'A Song for My Daughter' by Ray Allaire. It's very wedding-specific, but that's what my dad wanted because it summed up his feelings perfectly.

I let my dad pick.. And he chose Al Martino daddy's little girl.. It was perfect and not too sappy at all.. I needed something upbeat or woulda been a hot mess lol

My dad passed but he always said he wanted to dance with me to unforgettable by nat king cole on my wedding day ( we used to always sing this song together when I was little) I hope I can get through it... I am still going to play the song and dance with my mom and have picture montage of my dad and I.

Another good one is Bob Carlisle - Butterfly Kisses and I personally like Miley Cyrus- When i look at you but that one isnt as traditional.

My dad and I have always considered 'My Girl' by The Temptations 'our song,' so this decision was pretty much a no-brainer for us. It's very sweet but still kinda upbeat. Worth considering!

This!! I thought I was going to be balling but I held it together and just talked to my dad during the dance so I wouldnt cry LOL
