Father/Daughter Dance Suggestions

Original post by BrideToB

What's everyone doing for the Father/Daughter dance? Every traditional song pretty much makes me ball, I'm looking for something kind of uplifting and maybe different. Any suggestions?

I went to a wedding recently where they used 'Brown Eyed Girl' and it was super cute.

My dad passed but he always said he wanted to dance with me to
unforgettable by nat king cole on my wedding day ( we used to always sing this song together when I was little)
I hope I can get through it... I am still going to play the song and
dance with my mom and have picture montage of my dad and I.

that's such a good plan!

Because you love me- Celine Dion

I used this song when my dad came up for his candle for my sweet 16

Father/Daughter Dance Suggestions

Well my father passed away 6 years ago, so I am going to dance my with godfather, who I grew up very close to as if he was a second father to me. I decided we are going to dance to 'Ripple' by the Grateful Dead. He is a huge dead head it's totally up his ally lol. I also don't want something too slow and sappy, because as you could imagine I'm afraid of being an emotional wreck during it!
