which rim do you think looks nicer. I'll have ribbon tied somewhere. either on the rim or right under.
The squiggles with the dots
or just dots (with flowers too of course)

I like the simplicity of the one with just the dots - no squiggly (of course with the flowers below too). Very pretty - did you paint them yourself?

Re: favor advice
thanks yep, i'm going to paint a variety of flowers with the colors of the centerpieces (can't do that though till i pick them out) that one is just a practice one for reference. I'm still in the basecoating phase... boy is it a PITA, but fun too!

Re: favor advice
Tracy, you are so very talented. They both are gorgeous. I'm sorry to be different but I did like the swirls with the dots a little better. Are you painting them free-hand or are you using a stencil? What kind of paint are you using? I'm assuming they are the standard clay pots. What flowers are you putting in them? Sorry to ask all these questions. I am just so very impressed.
Are you considering signing them? That will make them so much more unique and everyone will be sure to love receiving one.
I hope you'll post a photo when they are all done.

Re: favor advice
thanks! I'm doing them free hand... maybe some roses, hydrangeas, daisies, lavender, tulips... whatever's springy! We're putting flower seed packets with our names and date in them. They are 4' terra cotta pots. I'm using PatioPaint so they are weather proof if people want to put them outdoors.
If anyone has any other suggestions on what to put on the rim let me know ( they have to include dots though cuz i already dotted a bunch).

Oh my God, Ariana. You are so sweet.
I try to hold back in my comments sometimes bec. NO ONE needs another mom around. My daughter assigned me to gather info and I've become addicted. You girls all amaze me with your talents, your knowledge and sensitivity for eachother.
Long Island girls are the best and don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.
All the best to all of you. Mary

Re: favor advice (rim design)
I kind of like the squiggles and dots becuse it it almot repeated in the design of the flower's leaves. I think it ties the two elements together nicely. Quite a gift you have - I'm jealous!!
