Does anyone think it would be tacky to put name tags on the favors? I am having favors per couple not per person and I am afraid that some people won't understand and take per person. Will it look bad with a tag that says 'Mr. and Mrs. XXX'?

I don't think that's tacky at all. I think it's a cute idea and will prevent confusion. What are they?

Re: Favor distribution
If you are using you favors as your placecards or placing them near where the couple is seating and I think that is a GREAT idea!
And not tacky at all.
Makes sense to me.

I don't think it would look bad. I am going to do that for the kids favors. I may do it for the adults also, but I have not decided yet.

Re: Favor distribution
We have decided on Lindt truffles (3 or 4 in a fancy open top box with organza wrapped around it. They are in the Lindt store). FH and I love them. I am just worried that some greedy hungry person will want to take one favor per person instead of sharing with his/her date.

I thought that it was always one favor per couple and not one for every guest? I think that's fine. We're making CD's & we are thinking of using nametags too b/c we want to do different types of music for different age groups but we weren't sure how we were going to differentiate between the 2 different CD's and how the guests would know which CD was meant for them.

Has anyone found any beautiful gift tags? I am thinking of using them also for wine bottles for the same reason. I prefer something elegant and nothing 'cutesy'. if you know what I mean. Thanks.

Re: Favor distribution
I've seen lots of favor labels in the back of Modern Bride's (pink pages). I pulled some pages, I'll get back to you with the links.

Re: Favor distribution
Thanks Marcia. The more I think about it the more I think I have to do that. Like all of you, there are bound to be many single guests mixed in with the couples. Has anyone seen labels on favors? Was it pretty or tacky?

I think that is a great idea, as a matter of fact I hadn't even thought of that.

Re: Favor distribution
My favors are wrapped in boxes and I placed the place cards on top of each one with velcro tabs (dont see them)
