Hi Everyone! Not sure if there is a thread on this...If not, please post what you are doing for favors.

We had a few favors. We had the placecard frames, heart-shaped candles in a heart-shaped dish and personalized chocalate bars.

i made magnets for the fridge - not very elegant, I guess, but I liked that they were handmade by me, they were on the tables wrapped in tulle - at the very end there was a basket by the door with beer coozies for everyone to take on their way out - these were a big hit! And I love when I go to peoples houses and see our magnet on their fridge!

I am doing biodegrable dove ornaments that have pine needles and pine seeds embedded in the ornament, so the idea is to enjoy the ornament then plant it and it grows a pine tree.

Here are ours. We are putting in personalized notes and candies in them and then wrapping them in white paper with some ribbon around it and then a sticker on the front with our monogram.

I'm borrowing Stacey1403's idea and doing a charitable donation and wrapping up some Hershey's kisses in some tulle.

I was thinking about doing a donation too, but I keep getting mixed responses on them. It really is a nice idea- I don't know.

These were my favors...

They had decoupaged votive holders inside with fall tissue paper and a personalized apple spice candle from Yankee.

We gave out these candles. Its nice to see them used by our family and friends. I was over one of my Aunts homes the other day and she had three of them across her table. When I asked how she got 3 she just gave me a little laugh

I like having a favor that has some significance to the couple. Since our first trip together was to Foxwoods for New Year's Eve, we're doing monogrammed playing cards.

Karen 32 - I love the cards idea. That's great. We are doing CD favors and our placecards will be another little favor. We are planning to use I Love NY scratch off cards, with a penny with our date on it in an envelope with the guests name and table # on them. I am hoping to find little yellow taxi cabs to use as the holders. FH and I were both born and raised in Manhattan and wanted to do something representing that.
