Favor Ideas... What do you think?

Okay, I'm workin' on the favor thing....

Favor Idea 1

I'm doing the votive placecards so I thought this would go nicely... it's a silver candle snuff, about 11' long and I'd also throw in a little glitter tea light candle with holder.

Favor Idea 2

Personalized coffee tucked inside a white or black latte mug.

(sorry the coffee pic is gonna be big)

As a caffeine junkie, I picked number 2. But since you gave the option of looking further, can I ask whether either of these favors reflect anything personal or specific that represents you and your FH? Are you looking for something that holds meaning or something that is useful or neither?

I prefer something useful... Everyone knows that I am a coffee junkie and FH has become quite the latte lover. So the coffee favor is probably a little more about 'us' where as I like the candle snuff because it's functional.

I definitely like the latte mug and coffee better, then. I'm a candle lover and have never used a snuff in my life. You know a mug is going to get used.

I have a candle snuffer and never use it. Its really pretty but I dont ever feel like running around the house to find the snuffer as opposed to just blowing it out.

So my vote is for #2 :D

i voted for coffee.
I was in Michael's on Sat, and they had a flyer on one aisle of the store about wedding favors you can make yourself, etc.. and one was a sachet of coffee w/ a spoon that was covered in crystalized sugar.

I thought that was a cute idea? If you get a really nice smelling coffee, it would give such a great aroma at your table too :)

You can put it in the mug, instead of the personalized packet you have there.. And you can pick any coffee you want. Just an idea.

i am all about functional, but this is a tough call...

#2 is functional, but #1 is more elegant

i say keep looking...

i would think you want to get something functional but elegant for a favor, and #2 does not scream elegant. if i HAD to choose between the two, i would go for the candle snuff. this is from someone who will most likely skip the favors altogether, as of now we are planning to only do the italian confetti...
