favor question

Do you give out a favor for an engagement party? What would be nice for a brunch? Or is it ok to not give out anything?

Re: favor question

Definitely do a favor. Remember you (or your or his parents) are inviting family and friends to celebrate and perhaps even give a gift or a check so it would be nice to have them walk away with something! It doesn't even have to be fancy! all the wedding sites have tons of ideas depending on your taste.

Definitely as long as it's in your budget. You can find something small and sweet or even make it yourself. My aunt is making bookmark favors for us= FREE

Good luck!

We did mini champagne bottles. I made our own labels to match the invitation.

i would do something with a certain budget. The little champagne bottle sounds appealing.

we are planning on giving out our save the dates at our party...and hopefully giving out personalized candles with 'Paul & Kerri's Engagement Party' with the date

Re: favor question

We didn't do favors. In fact, our engagement party was basically a normal cocktail party with a speech by my dad. We didn't have a cake, didn't get presents, and hardly even talked about the fact that it was an engagement party. But whatever, we still had fun!
