I'm not sure what to do..I was thinking of making my favor my placecard somehow..in that case it would be 1 per couple. If i don't make my favor the place card and still intend on it being one per couple, how would people know this? Would I just put one favor on every other place setting? or should I just make it 1 favor per person. My favors are going to be personalized shot glasses... and I was going to put them in off white muslin bags with drawstring ties...
What would you do? 1 per person or 1 per couple?
Also , if you were going ot make this favor your place card how would you do it?? I was thinking of using those small gold safety pins and pinning the place card to the front of the bag...??
Reaching out to all you crafty brides on here!! TIA!!

Re: Favors - 1 per person/ or 1 per couple???
well if its a placecard then the placecards are set on a different table(placecard table) that people pick up to know where they are sitting. If its one per couple then you would have one shot glass in the bag with their name on it so they would see that there is just one with their name on it so it is fine.
If its a placecard then you wouldnt put it in front of their place setting since people dont know where they are sitting ahead of time.

Re: Favors - 1 per person/ or 1 per couple???
I personally feel that the best way to do one per couple is to make it the placecards, because then it makes sense why it would be one per couple and is easy for people to know it's one per couple.
i think if the favors are going out on the table, one per place setting looks best. i think it would be awkward to put less favors on the table than people, what if they assume it's one per person? also, it would make the setting look uneven...
if you want to do one per couple and not make them placecards, maybe someone can hand them to guests as they leave?

we did one per couple and they doubled as placecards. we wrapped them and put placecard info on top

people can still figure it out. For e-party i had a box with a cupcake in front of each place setting since it was 1 per person, but we also gave them a bottle of wine and that was one per couple. The wine was more in the middle and the guests were able to all figure it out on their own, they saw there were 12 guests at a table and 6 bottles of wine. So depends

we did one per wedding invitation... sometimes that meant individual and sometimes that meant couple.

Oh I was thinking of doing the same thing... but I was going to use thin satin ribbon to do it. Here is what i ended up doing with mine. (I put hershey kisses in the bags and then ended up getting candles for the favors and wrapping them at each setting. but the flowers on the bags... I looped thin satin ribbon through and attached them, you could do the same with the place cards. I actually put the place cards at the seats then had a seating chat (list at the door to the reception.
I'm doing 1/per couple. My RH just asked me to drop them off and tell them how many to set on each individual table. I think people will easily know it's per couple, since that's how it usually is (unless it's set on every place setting).
