favors- 1per guest- 1 per couple- 1per family

Hi.

I have been to four weddings in the last few months, and now that it is time for mine, I am thinking about how to distribute favors.

I have noticed that the most common distribution is 1 per couple. what is everyone doing?

I was thinking of giving mini champagne bottles and giving one per person.

What are your thought?

If it's something along the lines of giftwear, like a frame or bottle stop, or even a champagne bottle, I'd do one per couple.

When it comes to candy and the like, I'd do one per person.

I'm doing CD favors, so 1 per couple, but I WILL have extras, just in case. . . .

Can I tell you, do one per couple to avoid wasting money. I have been to several weddings and so many people do not even take the favors, especially men.

I did one per couple but I gave out 2 favors so I dont know where that counts.

I gave out brass NYC ornaments and a wedding CD. I bought extra ornaments and ended up with those but I dont have a single extra CD!!

We did one per couple but we put extras out on the tables just in case.

Edited to say: I kind of think it also depends on what you are giving out. We gave out candles.

I think since you are giving out champagne, one per couple is fine.

Re: favors- 1per guest- 1 per couple- 1per family

Even though we are doing mugs, which could be one per person, we are doing with per couple (couldn't possibly afford twice as much for favors)...

Re: favors- 1per guest- 1 per couple- 1per family

It's usually one per couple or actually one per invite. You don't want to break the bank w/ favors. Do what you can aford to do.
