favors

I am so disgusted, i just need to vent. I don't want to call my Fh because a part of me blames him. So, after months of looking, I found the lenox ornament that I LOVED online for a good price (under $10) and I was so excited because it was exactly what I was looking for and for such a good price. Well, he kept going back and forth that he wasn't thrilled about it (which by the way, he hasn't been thrilled about ANYTHING I've picked out) well, so finally he's like alright, go ahead and get it so I get online this morning and just a week later, they are not only no longer on sale but they areonly being sold at lenox retail shops like macy's and hechts who you know do not have their xmas stuff out yet. I tried ebay but they don't have it either. I am so sad, I know in the grand scheme of things its nothing and I know if I say something to Fh, he'll be like 'oh well' but I have to say it was just what I wanted and he ahsn't come up with a single idea. Not one idea about ANYTHING about the wedding.....ugh! I'm sorry, I just needed to vent. I know its not his fault that I lost the favor, but I want to get mad at someone Oh well, thanks for listening.

I know how you feel. That just recently happened to me with furniture. My fiance was hesitant about ordering it and when he was ready it wa discontinued.
Anyway, Maybe try calling those stores to see if they can sell them to you. It's worth a try.

I know Fh's just don't understand they leave all the work up to us and everything you show that you want they are like whatever you want is fine. When all I really want is his input on things make me feel like you are a part of this wedding too ya know!

I know how you feel. does he REALLY care about favors? I was consulting with FH on everything for awhile( he's very involved - it's great 90% of the time) and then, when stuff like this started to happen, I would just go on my own. He is part of all the big decisions, but for something like favors - he can just deal with what i pick out. If you were to say to him 'I chose these things and had to leap because they were on sale' he would freak out?

No, not at all. He isn't like that at all. I just know whenever we talked about the wedding, he would talk about the things he'd like to be involved in. (Limo, Reception, favors, DJ) so I thought, okay, he could be involved but like I've mentioned before, he just isn't getting excited about anything I do....

Trying to plan a wedding with a person who never plans anything is what I'm dealing with!

Are you going to florida any time soon? The lenox outlet has this thing called christmas in July and sell all the lenox christmas stuff at clearance in July!
